Lynnfield Scouts Hike Ward Reservation In North Andover

A release from the Lynnfield Scouts:

More than 25 Cub Scouts and their families From Lynnfield Cub Scout Pack 48 recently enjoyed a spring hiking adventure at Ward Reservation in North Andover, which is operated by the Trustees of Reservations.

The highlight of the day was climbing Holt Hill, the highest point in Essex County. Atop the hill, the Scouts were treated to a panoramic view of Boston. In this photo, the Scouts stand stop the Solstice Stones, which are a compass-like arrangement of stones indicating the cardinal points on the compass, the points of the summer and winter solstices, and the points of the spring and autumnal equinoxes.
