Man Treated for Snake Bite

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, July 24 and Thursday, July 25. 

On Wednesday, July 24 at 7:45 a.m. a man on Temple Road reported that he had just been bitten by a poisonous snake. He was treated at a nearby hospital. 
At 12:31 p.m. a caller reported some geese were causing a traffic hazard on Summer Street. 
At 3:09 p.m. a woman reported receiving a suspicious phone call. 
At 5:04 p.m. the fire department responded to Fletcher Road for a report of smoke from the chimney. 
At 9:50 p.m. an Apple Hill Lane resident reported a youth knocked loudly at the door and ran off. Police spoke to a group of youths found nearby. 
At 10:26 p.m. police dispersed a group of youth from Summer Street after receiving a noise complaint. 

On Thursday, July 25 at 6:57 a.m. police took a call about a truck idling at Pump 'N Pantry. The noise turned out to be coming from the vehicle's refrigeration unit. 
At 12:49 p.m. some empty beer bottles were reportedly found on Salem Street. 
At 2:11 p.m. police took a report of a lost ring.
