March 14th: A Tasteful Evening with Pure Pastry
Meet the maker behind the farm fresh, locally organic, and always delicious treats from Pure Pastry!
The Village Home & Garden Club of Lynnfield welcomes all to a “tasteful” evening on Monday, March 14th featuring Kim Gregory of Pure Pastry, a small organic, locally-sourced and home grown bakery in Beverly.
Pure Pastry is a unique wholesale and retail organic bakery offering exquisite pastry that can cater to any dietary restriction. Kim will talk about the seasonal ingredients she uses from local farms and her own gardens to create the delicacies from Pure Pastry. The event will be held at the Meeting House on Lynnfield Common beginning promptly at 7:30 PM (doors will open at 7:15 PM). A guest fee of $5.00 includes light refreshments and a “tasting” of Kim’s pastries. A gift certificate to Williams-Sonoma will be raffled off.
Pure Pastry's mission is to bake simple, practical and inspiring pastry. Cookies, bars, cakes, cupcakes, muffins, and scones — everything Kim makes — are all made individually, by hand. The ingredients are almost all organic and mostly come from either Kim’s backyard or the organic farm nearby. Kim uses eggs from her own chickens and honey from her own bees.
