MarketStreet Skating Rink Open For Business

The MarketStreet Skating Rink kicks off its sixth season Friday at 4 p.m. in Lynnfield.

This year the MarketStreet Rink will newly feature a Warming Tent, which will house skate rentals and ensure skaters and spectators stay toasty in even the chilliest of weather. The MarketStreet Rink, sponsored by Lahey Health, will welcome guests all winter long, November through mid-February, and is located on The Green, the heart of MarketStreet’s community events and gatherings, near lululuemon, J.Crew and JP Licks.

In celebration of The MarketStreet Rink’s opening weekend, guests who purchase an admission ticket this weekend, Nov. 9-11, will have the chance to enter to win a pair of Bruin’s tickets or a 4 pack of tickets to Disney on Ice. Programming this year will include themed days such as Princess Skates, Super Hero Skates, Winter Classics and Skate + Plate which gives every skater the opportunity to receive a discount at one of 7 participating restaurants on the property to include Yard House, Kings, and JP Licks for the 2018/2019 rink season.

2018-2019 Rink Hours:

Monday: 4-9 p.m.

Tuesday: 4-9 p.m.

Wednesday: 1-9 p.m.

Thursday: 4-9 p.m.

Friday: 4-10 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

Sunday: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

Skating conditions and hours are weather dependent.

Skating Admission Rates: Ages 13 and up: $8.00; Children 12 and under: $6.00; Children 3 and under: Free.

Skate Rental: Rentals are $4. Skaters are permitted to bring their own ice skates. Limited skate sizes and quantities are available for rent.
