Median Condo Price Went Up In Lynnfield

Lynnfield's modest condo market saw its median sales price increase somewhat last year, even as the overall number of sales declined.

New data from the Warren Group indicates that in 2011, there were 10 condo sales in Lynnfield, compared to 16 in 2010. This marks a drop of 37.5%.

However, the median sales price for condos actually increased in town during this period. According to the data, the median sales price for a Lynnfield condo was $421,825 in 2010, compared to $459,085 in 2011. This marked an increase of 8.83%.

Statewide, the Warren Group indicated there were 15,122 condo sales in 2011, marking a 16.2% drop from 2010 and the lowest number of sales since 1995.
