Orla The Therapy Dog Offers Reading Days At Lynnfield Library
First event is Saturday and they will be reading A Boy Who Became Pope: The Story of Saint John Paul II.

We want to introduce you to Orla the Therapy Dog and her human Kate, who happens to be Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative's Pastoral Care Coordinator. Families are invited to meet, greet, and read with them at the Lynnfield Public Library for a series of three Reading Days.
The first one will be held this Saturday and they will be reading A Boy Who Became Pope: The Story of Saint John Paul II by Fabiola Garza. All families are welcome! Orla is very talented and hard working, but she doesn't do administrative work very well, so please RSVP to Kate atkmcgrath@ola-smg.org or 781-598-4313 x224.
Orla -- whose name is Gaelic for "golden princess" -- is a sweet, 7-year-old Golden Retriever who learned on her own how to offer hugs to humans. She has been a registered therapy dog for six years and visits people in hospitals, nursing homes, school, and libraries. Orla and her human, Kate, were featured in the May/June 2015 issue of The Diocese of Manchester's Parable magazine.
