Phantom of the Bank? ATM User Reports Youth Inside, None Found

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2.

On Wednesday, May 1 at 7:33 a.m., an accident with no injury was reported on Condon Circle.
At 11:12 a.m. a dumping complaint was received from Lowell Street.
At 12:11 p.m. a caller reported cars parked on the sidewalk near Sagamore Springs Golf Course.
At 2:55 p.m. police arrested Michael R. DiPietro, 25, 4-6 Harvey Park, Lynnfield, and charged him with operating with a suspended license, subsequent offense.
At 10:11 p.m. a woman informed police that somebody had used her American Express card to purchase airline tickets.

On Thursday, May 2 shortly after midnight, Lynnfield and Wakefield, plus State Police, responded to a vehicle fire on Route 128.
At 5:30 a.m. possible gunshots were reported in the woods near Juniper Road.
At 6:46 a.m. an accident was reported on 128 South.
At 7:54 a.m. a school bus was reportedly involved in an accident - with no injury - at Salem Street and Route 1.
At 8:04 a.m. a suspicious auto was reported on Rourke Lane. It belonged to a contractor.
At 3:46 p.m. some youths were reported on the roof at Huckleberry Hill School. They were gone on arrival.
At 5:12 p.m. some youths were reported back on the roof at Huckleberry Hill School. They were gone on arrival.
At 8:23 the fire department investigated a burning odor at a home on Edgemere Road.
At 8:42 p.m. a man called from the Eastern Bank to report that while using the ATM, he had just seen a youth sitting inside the bank in the corner. Officers checked all of the windows in the building and found nobody there.
