Suspicious $50 Bill Turns Out Legit

Information provided by the Lynnfield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11.

On Monday, June 10 at 7:45 a.m. a suspicious male was reported on Heritage Lane. He turned out to be a young adult who lived nearby and who was reportedly out collecting snakes.
At 3 p.m. a neighbor disturbance was reported on Hawkes Lane.
At 6 p.m. an Edward Ave. resident reported a man in a silver Sedan had told her to watch her children earlier that afternoon.

On Tuesday, June 11 at 1:39 a.m. an officer found the lights on at the Little League field at Newhall Park. DPW was notified.
At 3:05 p.m. the Center Post Office called to report a suspicious $50 bill that was possibly counterfeit. Police determined that the bill was apparently just very old and in poor shape.
At 5:25 p.m. a Debston Lane resident reported some youths with a couple of vehicles were on the street yelling at each other. They turned out to be filming a school project.
At 10:09 p.m. a family disturbance was reported on Parsons Lane.
