Two Lynnfield Teams In Playoff Action Today

Two of Lynnfield High School's teams are playing in MIAA tournament action on Monday.

The girls varsity tennis team has a 3:30 p.m. match at Ipswich. Whoever wins this one will go on to play the winner of today's Manchester Essex/Austin Prep match in the Wednesday North Division 3 semifinal.

For baseball, the varsity team is on the road in the quarterfinals against Peabody's Bishop Fenwick High School at 4 p.m.

The winner of that game will go on to the semifinals to face the winner of the Newburyport/Austin Prep game, which will be taking place at the same time on Monday.
