Vandals Cause a Nuisance, and Fowl Play With Flamingos

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, May 10 and Sunday, May 12.
On Friday, May 10 at 7:44 a.m. a Williams Road resident reported that a flock of plastic flamingoes had been left on her property. The plastic birds are part of an annual fundraiser for local Destination Imagination students.
At 8:19 a.m. a tree was reported to be pulling some wires down on Edward Ave.
At 8:35 a.m. a motor vehicle break-in was reported on Edward Ave.
At 10:54 a.m. an accident was reported at the 128 ramp.
At 12:43 p.m. an accident was reported on North Broadway. The State Police responded to the scene.
At 3:55 p.m. an accident was reorted at the 128 Exit near Summer Street. State Police responded.
At 4:10 p.m. police took a walk-in fraud report.
At 7:02 p.m.a Saunders Road resident reported an unleashed dog had charged him and his wife.
At 7:06 p.m. a caller reported some ducklings were trying to cross Route 128 North near Walnut Street.
At 10:32 p.m. a Maple Street resident called with a noise complaint about a band practicing in a nearby garage. They agreed to shut the door and turn it down.
On Saturday, May 11 at 4:02 a.m. a caller reported hearing on Saunders Road, possibly from an animal.
At 6:09 a.m. the sign for Newhall Park and Oak Street was reported pulled out of the ground and thrown on a nearby road.
At 6:15 a.m. a stop sign was pulled out near Robin Road and deposited on a nearby lawn.
At 10:28 a.m. a Dumpster was reported tipped over at the Lynnfield Medical Building and some planters broken.
At 3:43 p.m. an accident with no injury was reported on Salem Street.
At 7:26 p.m. an accident was reported on Summer Street.
At 7:28 p.m. a youth was reportedly hit in the face with a ball at a sporting event at Lynnfield High School.
At 11:27 p.m. police sent some youths on their way who were parked in the Mormon Church parking lot.
On Sunday, May 12 at 2:52 a.m. a vehicle fire was reported on Route 1 North.
At 2:37 p.m. a barking dog was reported on Tophet Road.
At 6:47 p.m. an officer issued a written warning on Main Street for speeding.
At 8:50 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious black SUV was following a girl on Lowell Street. It turned out to be her father.
