VIDEO: The End Of A Long Ride

Sunday morning was perfect for a long bike ride, and about 400 people turned out in Lynnfield to participate in the 2011 Reid's Ride, which raises funds for cancer research in memory of Reid Sacco.

In this video, some of these riders can be seen reaching their destination, Stagefort Park in Gloucester. At the park, riders could refresh themselves with everything from burgers to Dunkin Donuts Coolattas.

The route ran down Essex Street in Lynnfield through Middleton and on to downtown Danvers by way of Gregory Street, proceeding through downtown Beverly and Manchester into Gloucester. The scenery was terrific along the coast and ride went by fairly easily, although by the last handful of miles, every little hill seemed to feel much larger than it actually was.
