5-Alarm Revere Fire Displaces 100+: State Fire Marshal's Office
The four-story apartment may be deemed a total loss.
REVERE, MA — More than 100 residents were displaced after a five-alarm fire ripped through a four-story apartment building, the state Fire Marshal's office said.
Four fighters have been released from the hospital after being treated for minor injuries. There were no report of civilian injuries.
The fire started a little after 2 p.m. at 10 Franklin Ave., a 36-unit condo building. The building may be a total loss, fire officials said.

Firefighters arrived to find only smoke pouring out of the fourth-floor apartments. The fire is thought to have been above the apartments but below the roof.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, though the Fire Marshal's office said it is not considered suspicious.
