Malden Police Employee Retires After More Than 40 Years Of Service

MALDEN, MA — A longtime administrative employee who spent more than four decades supporting the Malden Police Department is retiring after a career dedicated to the city.

Teri Ippolito concluded 44 years of service to the City of Malden, where she served in a civilian role with the police as an administrative assistant and police clerk.

Police Chief Glenn Cronin recognized Ippolito with a citation honoring her decades of commitment to the department and the Malden community.

"No citation could truly capture the impact of her decades of dedication to the City of Malden and the Malden Police Department," Cronin said. "The recognition was more than deserved."

The department credited Ippolito's commitment, professionalism, and years of service with leaving a lasting mark on both the agency and the community it serves.

As she begins retirement, Ippolito plans to spend more time focusing on family, friends, and herself. The department wished her many years of happiness, good health, and well-earned relaxation in the coming years.
