He is also survived by grandchildren Ryan and Logan Spurr, Nicole and John Benoit, and Mackenzie and Paul Nichols; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was the brother of the late Raymond, William, and Joseph Auger.
He was the original owner of Paul's Cold Cuts of Everett.

A funeral procession will depart from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Grove and Salem Sts. Lynnfield at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
