Angel Baseball To Hold Fundraising Car Wash

The program, which helps kids play baseball regardless of income, will be cleaning cars to raise money on April 29th.

The Malden Giants, the two teams that make up Malden's Angel Baseball program, have a number of upcoming games they need to raise money for.

According to coach Steve Laudadio, the under-19 team will play in the Lou Thompkins Tournament, which starts in June and runs through August, and the under-15 team will play in the "wood bat" tournament in the South End as well as a fall ball league.

This season is the 9th season for Malden's Angel Baseball program, whose mission is "to offer kids the opportunity to play ball at a higher level with little to no expense," and which teaches "life skills" as well as baseball.
