Are You A Malden High Hall of Famer?

The second annual MHS Hall of Fame induction ceremony is around the corner.

Did you or someone you know graduate from Malden High School and go on to become an astronaut? Perhaps the education you received during your Golden Tornado years helped you cure a major disease later in life? Maybe you set a Guinness world record for most tacos eaten in a single sitting?

Whatever your post-Malden High career entailed, if you excelled, or made significant contributions to your hometown, the Malden High School Alumni Association wants to know about it. The organization is accepting submissions for this year’s MHS Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which transpires in early May. MHS graduates become eligible after they’ve been out of the 12th grade for 10 years, and this upcoming Valentine’s Day marks the deadline for submission.

Inductees will find themselves among impressive company. Honorees at last year’s first official Hall of Fame ceremony included Globe writer Kevin Cullen, former Van Halen singer Gary Cherone, television journalist Heather Kahn Braver, and women’s rights trailblazer Judge Emma Fall Schofield.
