Boston Marathon Bomber Files Appeal
The notice filed by Dzohkhar Tsarnaev's lawyers does not give grounds for appeal.

The lawyers for Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev filed an appeal Friday morning.
The notice, filed with the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, gave no grounds for appeal.
Tsarnaev, 22, was sentenced in May to death after being convicted of 30 federal charges related to his role in the Boston Marathon bombings, which killed three and injured scores more. He offered an apology before his sentencing.

A judge earlier this month denied Tsarnaev’s bid for a new trial.
Tsarnaev has also been ordered to pay $101 million in restitution.
