Bridge Work Begins on Route 93 and More

Everyone’s idea of a beautiful day: Sunny in the 70’s. It’s all you ever wanted. Yeah, it’ll still be windy, but almost perfect is still pretty good.

Commuter communication: Those of you who routinely drive on Route 93 have been bracing for this day: The state is about to start its aggressive bridge replacement program. The plan is to do all work over the weekends, but that depends on an aggressive work schedule, so there’s a chance the occasional Monday will be jammed up. You can follow the project’s progress and get advice on alternate routes at the just-launched Fast 14 website.

Tough loss: The Golden Tornadoes were knocked out of the state baseball tournament yesterday, dropping its first-round game against the Gray Ghosts of Westford. Read more about the game here.
