A Poetry & Story-Writing Class with CD Collins

Words have the power to connect us, heal us, and move mountains. This March, join Malden’s Poet Laureate CD Collins for Words Move Mountains, a four-session poetry and story-writing class designed to help participants explore their voices in a supportive, welcoming community.

Using generative writing techniques, participants will write, listen, and share stories and poems in a safe space where every voice matters. Together, we’ll explore how words create empathy, deepen understanding, and bring people together. Each session includes guided writing and discussion, and participants will have the opportunity to revise and polish a poem or story for public presentation.

No prior writing experience is required—just curiosity and a connection to Malden.
