Cambridge Health Alliance Opens Elder Service Center in Malden

The organization recently celebrated its opening on Canal Street.

MALDEN, MA – Cambridge Health Alliance is bringing its Elder Service Plan to Malden with a new location on Canal Street.

Through its center at 195 Canal St., the organization has begun providing alternative care and convenient services to elder adults in Malden and the surrounding communities.

First established in 1995 through the national Program of All-Inclusive Care (PACE) network, the Elder Service Plan provides coordinated care for those with medical needs who can live in the community safely with proper support.

"Many frail or disabled older adults have found this to be an empowering alternative to nursing home care by allowing them to maintain their health, dignity and independence," according to an announcement on the Malden city website.
