Cannoli Guy Cafe Offers Espresso, Fresh Cannolis in Downtown Malden

If you're looking for a new place to get your caffeine fix in downtown Malden, a new coffee shop inside of may be your best bet.

The Cannoli Guy Cafe is a separate coffee shop located within the pizzeria, with owners Clark and Terri Heighton – as known as “papa” and “mama cannoli,” respectively – serving espresso drinks complete with complimentary cookies.

As it's name suggests, the duo also specializes in cannolis, which are squeezed fresh to order.

“(We) have a very unique blend of cheeses...to form a very light cream and bring a very different experience...to your palette,” Clark wrote in an email.

The cannolis also incude some orange and lemon zest, as well as the option of four toppings: chocolate chip, almond, sprinkles and coconut.

"We look forward to being in Malden for some time," Clark said. "We understand we are not Dunkin' Donuts, nor do we wish to be. We are a small cafe, offering a great place to sit and sip, and have the best damn cannoli there is, anywhere!"

The store is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 390 Main St.
