A group of Chinese school principals recently visited the Mystic Valley Regional Charter School in Malden. The educators were in the Boston area on a tour of several different schools.

The group was able to visit several classrooms and observe classes being taught. They were initially given an overview of the school and the school's educational philosophy by Mystic Valley Executive Director, Dr. Joseph McCleary. After the initial remarks, the educators presented Dr. McCleary with several gifts and asked questions regarding how the school operates.

During the tour the group frequently stopped to discuss various topics regarding the education provided at Mystic Valley.

"We always welcome the sharing of best educational practices with school administrators from far and near. Our fellow teachers from China were pleased to observe an American public school in action and enjoyed a fruitful exchange of ideas." said Dr. McCleary.
