City Of Malden: Fire Department Promotions & Swearing-In Ceremony

Mayor Gary Christenson, Fire Chief William Sullivan and Commissioner Emery Haskell presided over a promotional and swearing in ceremony promoting three officers and welcoming five firefighters to the Department. A warm welcome was given to family and friends in attendance. City Council President Neal Anderson, Councillor-At-Large Steve Winslow and Ward 7 Councillor Jadeane Sica were present for the event.

Firefighter David P. O’Connor was promoted to Lieutenant, Lieutenant Timothy K. Robblee was promoted to Captain, and Firefighter Eric J. Provitola was promoted to Lieutenant. Firefighters Zachary Dfaria, Gene-Andrew Ouelette, Daniel Trentsch, Daniel Alexis Arzate Aguilar and Ralph Thelmaque were officially welcomed to the Department. 

Chief Sullivan offered remarks and Commissioner Haskell invited family members to officially pin the promoted officers and new members. Assistant City Clerk Patty Bucciero took the oaths and swore in the officers. The promotions and new hires are the result of recent retirements.
