Community Workshop: Alzheimer's Disease & Dementia

Please join us on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 6:00-7:00pm for a
free informational Community Workshop with Forestdale Park about
Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. According to the Alzheimer’s
Association, “Every 65 seconds someone in the United States develops the
disease” and “it is the 6th leading cause of death in the
United States.” Forestdale Park is Malden’s newest senior assisted
living and memory care community.
It's never easy to talk about Alzheimer's disease or dementia but
Alzheimer's is now the 6th leading cause of death in the United States.
How do you recognize the signs of dementia and how do communicate with
someone with Alzheimer's? How do we create more dementia-friendly
communities?
Light refreshments will be provided. Free and open to the public and
