Woman's Death in Malden Being Investigated as Homicide: UPDATE

MADLEN, MA - A woman was found dead during a well-being check in Malden Monday night and authorities are investigating the incident as a homicide, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Malden Police Chief Kevin Molis said in a statement.

In an updated statement sent Tuesday evening, authorities said the incident does not appear to be random.

Malden officers and State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office responded to a well-being check at an apartment complex in Malden at approximately 9 p.m. Monday. Upon arrival they discovered a deceased female.
