10th Annual Legislative Breakfast On Homelessness

Massachusetts legislators, along with homeless and formerly homeless families will gather at Malden’s Irish American Club on Tuesday, April 3rd from 8:30-10:30am to share experiences, solutions, and the importance for advocacy regarding the issue of homelessness.

The legislative breakfast is an annual event and is held to foster dialogue on family homelessness and allow the voices of those experiencing homelessness to be heard by their legislative officials. Legislators scheduled to attend are State Senator Katherine Clark, State Representative Paul Brodeur, State Representative Paul J. Donato, State Representative Christopher G. Fallon, Malden Mayor Gary Christenson, Everett Mayor Carlo DeMaria, Jr., Melrose Mayor Robert J. Dolan, Medford Mayor Michael J. McGlynn, and Revere Mayor Dan Rizzo.

This is a free event, open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. A complimentary light breakfast will be served starting at 8:30am and the speaker series will run from 9-10:30am. Special thanks to Bill Hart and the Malden Irish American Club for hosting the breakfast.

Service organizations sponsoring the breakfast are Housing Families Inc, Homes for Families, Heading Home, Inc., and Tri-City Community Action Program.
