The First Parish in Malden, Universalist, gathers on Sunday morning, September 9 at 10:30 for its annual “Homecoming Sunday,” in celebration of the new church year. We welcome old friends and members and especially welcome those looking anew for a spiritual home for worship and religious education. The interim minister, Rev. Joanne Giannino, and director of religious education, Caitie Daphtary will lead the service entitled, “You are the treasure," a celebration of the qualities we each bring by simply being ourselves. During the service there will be a homily and a time for prayer and meditation, as well as religious education classes offered to children 3-years-old and up. All are welcome to stay after the service for refreshments and conversation.
