Everett's John DiBiaso Announces Retirement

Longtime football coach John DiBiaso hangs it up after winning Division 1 Super Bowl.

Everett football coach John DiBiaso announced Wednesday that this year's season, which included his 300th win and his second straight Super Bowl title, will be his last.

DiBiaso started at Everett in 1992 and this year's Super Bowl was his 17th. He goes out with a 12-5 mark in title games after beating Xaverian, 35-10, at Gillette Stadium. Everett finished 11-0 this fall.

He finished with 304 career wins, tied for third most in state history.

DiBiaso's retirement was first reported by Danny Ventura of The Boston Herald.
