Film About Community Impact on Addiction, Recovery to Screen in Malden

"Generation Found" follows the people of Houston as they fight to save the youth of their community from addiction.

MALDEN, MA – A new film about the impact of community on an individual's recovery from addiction will screen in Malden next week, as the city furthers its conversation on how to address the opioid crisis.

"Generation Found," the newest venture by the creators of the 2013 documentary "The Anonymous People," follows people in Houston as they fight to save their youth from addiction. The documentary captures both families who have lost their children to addiction, either by death or imprisonment, and families and youth who have a second chance because of their neighbors.

"Generation Found" is presented by Malden Overcoming Addiction and Recovery Thoughts, with the support of the City of Malden and City of Revere. It will screen Thursday, Dec. 1 at the Malden High School auditorium.
