Gisele Bundchen Remembers Late Malden Teen in Instagram Post
Bundchen and Karina Moreira met last December. Moreira died from cancer Thursday.
Fashion model Gisele Bundchen remembered Karina Moreira, a late Malden teenager who inspired thousands by starting a fashion blog, “chic by karina,” while battling cancer, in an Instagram post Thursday night.
Moreira died from cancer Thursday. She was 16.

Last year I met a special girl, she inspired me and so many others with her strength, positivity and love for life. Today she became an angel. RIP @chicbykarina. Sending all my love to her family.
Inspired by Moreira, Bundchen reached out to her, and the two made a video together (in Portuguese) last December. Moreira and Bundchen are both Brazilian.
