Hidden Gem: New Wifi Café Opens in Malden Center [VIDEO]

Abiata Cafe, which opened at the end of June, is brand new but is already filling a niche Pleasant Street needs. It's a modern, wifi cafe that stays open until 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The Ethiopian and Mediterranean cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as espresso.

The space at 74 Pleasant St., previously occupied by Olive Market, has been expanded and includes ample seating, wifi and other amenties.The tables in the front of the restaurant are big enough to comfortably fit groups of four.

Not in the mood for a meal? Pick up some cookies, preserved fruit and other international fare on the shelves toward the back of the cafe.
