Hilltop Steakhouse Property Sold, Restaurant Coming Down

The Hilltop Steakhouse property on Route 1 in Saugus has sold, and the restaurant will be torn down to make way for a new 200-seat restaurant and shopping center, according to NECN.

The restaurant’s 68-foot-high cactus sign will remain, however, according to the report.

Hilltop Steakhouse closed this year after over five decades in business.
