Arrest Made In Malden Package Thefts

MALDEN, MA — Police have arrested an Everett man in connection with package thefts in Malden. Robert Beauchamp, 46, was taken into custody around 12:30 p.m. after officers matched his clothes to those of a man caught on camera stealing packages Dec. 1, police said. A caller had reported a man stealing a package prior to Beauchamp's arrest.

Beauchamp was charged with receiving stolen property and larceny offenses. He will be arraigned in Malden District Court Thursday morning.

Beauchamp was recorded on a home surveillance video stealing packages in the Holyoke/Stearns Street area, according to police.
