Jay's Again Gives to Families in Need
Jay's Ice Cream and Pizza lent a holiday helping hand for the third year in a row.

The following is from the City of Malden:
For the third year in a row, George Tsakirgis of Jay's Ice Cream and Pizza organized an event to provide Christmas trees and toys to families in need. Councillor-At-Large Debbie DeMaria reached out to ABCD.org, Hallmark Health Community Services and Housing Families to help coordinate the initiative. City Councillor Ward 1 Peg Crowe assisted as well. Forty beautiful spruce trees donated by Christmas Tree Santa of Newbury, Massachusetts and Jay’s Ice Cream were delivered by SHORE Educational Collaborative. A festive and wintery “Christmas Tree Forest” was set up at Jay’s complete with Santa Claus. “It was what the season is all about,” said George Tsakirgis. The Junior Aid Association of Malden chose this event as one of its service projects of the season and came with arms full of toys for Housing Families.
