Joint Planning Board and Ordinance committee hold public hearing
New proposals for Use Regulations to allow some business to open by right, and parking garages to require Special Permit

MALDEN PLANNING BOARD and MALDEN CITY COUNCIL ORDINANCE COMMITTEE
PUBLIC HEARING
The Malden Planning Board and Malden City Council Ordinance Committee will jointly hold a
public hearing in the Auditorium of the first floor in the JOHN & CHRISTINA MARKEY
MALDEN SENIOR COMMUNITY CENTER, 7 Washington Street, Malden, MA at
7:00 P.M. on WEDNESDAY, April 11, 2018 to further amend the following sections of Chapter
12 of the Revised Ordinances of 1991, as Amended, of City of Malden:

I. Use regulations for the following:
Business School (Section 300.3.4.2); Motel-hotel (Section 300.3.4.6); Nursing or
Convalescent Home (Section 300.3.4.7); Recreation for Gainful Business (Section
300.3.4.1 O); Restaurant, All Other/not fast food (Section 300.3.4.12); Retail Sales
(Section 3 00.3 .4.13 ); Research and Development (Section 3 00.3 .5 .8); Light
Manufacturing (Section 300.3.5.10); and Artist Live/Work Space (Section 300.3.6.4).
