Kane’s Handcrafted Donuts Teams up with Somerville’s Taza Chocolate for Limited Edition November Donuts

Partnership Kicks off on National Chocolate Day, Friday, October 28th

Saugus, MA (October 25, 2016) – Kane’s Donuts is proud to announce its official partnership with Somerville-based Taza Chocolate for National Chocolate Day on October, 28, 2016 along with limited-time-only donuts – Taza Plain Chocolate Frosted, Taza Raised Chocolate Frosted, Taza Boston Crème Donut and the Taza Cranberry Pumpkin Spice Donut – throughout the month of November. The Taza-Kane’s collaborations will be available at both Kane’s Handcrafted Donuts locations: 120 Lincoln Avenue in Saugus and 90 Oliver Street in Boston’s Financial District.

It’s been a tradition for Kane’s Handcrafted Donuts to roll out different seasonal specialty donuts at the beginning of each month, but have recently started working directly with local businesses on co-creating upcoming collaborations using their featured products and ingredients. The partnership with Taza Chocolate (adding its chocolate to Kane’s year-round classic offerings) shows their commitment to working with fresh, local businesses for monthly features, limited-time-only collaborations and official partnerships, most of which have led Kane’s Handcrafted Donuts to continue using ingredients from these organizations in other Kane’s Handcrafted Donut creations beyond the conclusion of the official partnership.

“We pride ourselves in cooking local, supporting local and using local,” said Paul Delios, Co-owner and President of the Kane’s Handcrafted Donuts family business. “We ramped up our efforts to support local businesses by co-creating donut collaborations using their products as the main ingredients in our high-quality artisanal donuts made fresh everyday in-house, and we’re happy to continue the tradition with Taza’s stone ground chocolate.”
