Malden 2019 Christmas Tree Lighting Set For November
This year's tree lighting ceremony will take place at Fellsmere Pond.
MALDEN, MA — Malden will light its "Giant Everest" Christmas tree Friday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony will take place at Fellsmere Pond.
The 24-foot artificial tree will be the city's official tree at the new City Hall when it opens next year. It will be displayed at Fellsmere Pond to "add to Malden's postcard perfect start to the holiday season."
Santa Claus will be on hand to visit with children, and residents are invited to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies.
