The 79th commencement took place on Saturday, May 17 in the school gymnasium. At 4 p.m., the graduates filed into the gym and took their seats in a reserved front section. Zachary Zahner delivered the salutatory address and Peter Melendez, the valedictory. Last to address the class with heartfelt words was retiring headmaster Edward C. Tyrell. Diplomas were presented to 119 graduates.
