Malden Chamber of Commerce Offers 3 $1,000 College Scholarships

The Malden Chamber of Commerce announced Monday that its three annual scholarships have doubled this year, which means a trio of high school students will snag $1,000 each for their college education.

One scholarship was created in honor of Arlene Goldstein Ceppetelli, onetime Malden High School health teacher and advisor. The Ceppetelli scholarship is exclusive to Malden High School students, while the other two are open to any high school senior who attends high school in Malden.

The deadline to apply is April 23, and winners will be announced in May. Potential candidates can check out the Malden Chamber of Commerce website under the “our chamber” tab for more details.
