Malden Man Graduates from Marine Boot Camp

A longtime Malden resident and Malden High graduate recently graduated again - this time from Marine Corps Boot Camp.

Private First Class Pardeep Bola first developed the desire to serve while a student at Malden High, a post from the City said. He "excelled at Basic Training Physical Fitness tests, earned recognition from his superiors, and was selected as Platoon Leader by his fellow platoon members."

Mayor Gary Christenson recently attended a celebration at John Brewer's Tavern in Pardeep's honor.

Pardeep has just been deployed for School of Infantry Training and plans on returning to Malden after his service.
