Malden Man Pleads Guilty to DA Threats, Robbery
Sean Kearney, 36, of Malden, was recorded saying he would "kill as many (police) as he could get his hands on" and that authorities would "need a Hannibal Lecter mask" to take him to court during a jailhouse phone call.

A Malden man pleaded guilty to two separate cases pending against him Thursday: a 2010 gas station robbery in Everett, as well as allegations he later tried to intimidate witnesses and .
Sean Kearney, 36, of Malden, pleaded guilty yesterday in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn to charges of unarmed robbery, assault and battery, and resisting arrest in connection with the robbery.
He also pleaded guilty to five charges of intimidation of a witness.

Judge Joseph Walker sentenced the defendant to 9 to 10 years in state prison, followed by 3 years probation. He will be required to provide a DNA sample, not have contact with witnesses or victims and refrain from drugs and alcohol.
Kearney , coordinating an effort to pay off witnesses to prevent them from testifying at his trial. Police later allegedly intercepted those letters.

Advised of the apprehension, Kearney reportedly made a number of threats in a jailhouse call recorded by police.Β
βIβm gonna kill a cop, Iβm gonna kill one of these cops here, maybe all of them, as many as I can possibly get my hands on," he allegedly said.Β
