Malden Man Wins $2M Lottery Prize

Malden resident Anthony Abbuah recently became the sixth $2 million prize winner in the Mass. State Lottery's "$2,000,000 50X Cashword" scratch ticket.

Abbuah chose the cash option and one-time payment, so the number ended up being closer to $1,300,000 (less tax withholdings).

He bought the ticket at Oak Grove Variety, 9A Grove St. in Malden. The store will receive a $20,000 bonus.

Abbuah said he will help his kids pay off student loans.

There are still four $2 million prizes and 10 $1 million prizes available in the $10 game.
