Malden Matriarch Mary Stella Motzkin Turns One Hundred
Mary has resided in Malden for 90 years

Mary Stella Motzkin, a Malden resident for nine decades, will celebrate her 100th birthday on February 28th. Mary was born Berlin, New Hampshire in 1917 and moved to Malden in 1927. She was married to the late Joseph Motzkin for 45 years and spent her life enjoying her family, community, cooking and shopping. A member of the Women of the Moose Club, Mary enjoyed most being a family hostess. Her son James notes that her motto is,”You will feel better if you eat.”
Mary is the mother of three children: Joseph Motzkin, Suzanne Waite and James Motzkin. She is a loving grandmother of six grandchildren: Karen Waite Abramson, Kimberly Waite Dodd, Joseph Howard Motzkin, the late Michael Mark Motzkin, Jenifer Motzkin Rodriguez and Jimmy Motzkin and seven great-grandchildren: Joe Motzkin, Amanda Motzkin, Carson Dodd, Alexandra Abramson, Logan Dodd, James Motzkin and Lily Motzkin.
The entire family will gather to celebrate the milestone with Mary.
