Malden-Medford Scoring Updates on Twitter

Final score: It's over. Malden routs Medford 29-0. 

Fourth Quarter: Another Malden score pushes it to 29-0 with about six minutes left to play. Coach Pappagallo's halftime adjustments have paid off.

Third Quarter: The game's turning into a rout. Malden picks off an errant Medford pass and converts. After a 2-point conversion, it's 22-0 Malden.

Third Quarter: What do you do when you can't pick apart a defense? Throw over it. Malden scores early in the second half with a 50-yard bomb for the touchdown. 14-0 Golden Tornadoes. 

Halftime: No scoring in the second quarter as both defenses stand stong. Still 7-0 Malden.

First quarter update: It took a while, but Malden's the first team to score. A touchdown with about a minute left in the quarter gives the Golden Tornadoes a 7-0 lead.

The big Malden-Medford game kicks off at 10 a.m., and Malden Patch will be there.
