Malden Police Mourn Loss Of Sgt. Michael Giordano

MALDEN, MA — Malden Police Sgt. Michael Giordano has died following a battle with a "devastating illness," Chief Kevin Molis announced Wednesday.

"Sergeant Mike Giordano stood with us and served alongside us," Molis said in a statement. "As a police department and a police family, we will now stand and serve his grieving family as they carry their burden of sorrow."

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced for Giordano.
