Malden Power Restored to Thousands

Power has been restored to most of the roughly 4,500 National Grid customers without it in Malden.

The City's had posted this update in the early afternoon: "Here is what we know as of 2PM. The source of the largest power outage in Malden has been isolated and identified. It is affecting the western half of the city on into Malden Square. National Grid estimates that this outage will be restored in 1 hour (3PM) and then crews will be dispatched to other outages around the city."

Nearly than 50,000 were without power in Massachusetts, about 13,000 of which were in Medford.
