Malden Preliminary Election Unofficial Results

MALDEN, MA — The unofficial results are in for Tuesday night's preliminary elections. The elections were in Wards 3, 6, and 8.

The top two finishers for Ward 3 City Council were incumbent John Matheson and Candace Julyan. They will advance to the Nov. 7 election. Jennifer Lynn McClain will not join them. The school committee votes in Ward 3 went to Mekka Alicia Smith and Jennifer Spadafora, who will advance to battle for the open seat. Julianne Orsino was the odd woman out.

In Ward 6, David Camell and Jerry Leone advanced past Joseph Gray in the City Council race.

In Ward 8, incumbent Jadeane Sica and Richard Correale Sr. advanced past Peter Anastasia.
