Malden Public Library's Annual Food Drive

Please Help Our Neighbors

Give a deserving family a helping hand this Thanksgiving. Maldonians can help neighbors in need by contributing to the Malden Public Library’s food drive to benefit the local Salvation Army food pantry on Main St. Join the Library’s annual tradition of making this time of year special for those who might otherwise not be able to celebrate. We are aiming to collect a total of 150 individual items for the holiday.

Canned goods and other non-perishables are needed. These will be gladly accepted:
stuffing
dry gravy
mashed potatoes
canned tuna, chicken or other canned meats
apple sauce
cranberry sauce
peanut butter
International foods are welcomed; staples, such as rice or beans, are always good additions to the pantry. The collection container will be out on the main floor opposite the circulation desk.

If you haven’t been to the Library before, this is a chance to come by and see what the Library has to offer. We are always happy to introduce newcomers to audio and ebooks, exhibits, film programs, writing and book discussion groups, the world languages collection, and much more. Check out our website at www.maldenpubliclibrary.org to see upcoming events for all ages.
