Malden Restaurant Celebrates 15 Great Years Downtown

Hugh O'Neill's recently celebrated 15 years of food and drink in Malden.

Mayor Gary Christenson congratualted Shane Smyth, the restaurant/pub's proprietor.

Smyth and two friends birthed Hugh O'Neill's out of a desire to infuse downtown Malden with a taste of Irish culture. It seems to have worked - Hugh O'Neill's is a great St. Patrick's Day spot and has become the longest running restaurant in Malden Center.

The restaurant also supports the community and veterans.
