Malden Scouts from Troop 603 Inducted into Order of the Arrow

Over the first fall-feeling weekend of this September, six Scouts from Malden's Troop 603 were inducted into the Order of the Arrow, Scouting's Honor Society. The ceremony, known as "the Ordeal," engages the Scouts in service projects and introduces them to the service-oriented goals of the Order of the Arrow. The Order of the Arrow recognizes Scouts who live the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long term resident camping, and providing cheerful service to others.

These young men are now life-long members of the Pennacook Lodge of the Order of the Arrow. As leaders of the Troop, parents of the Scouts, and members of the Malden community, we are very proud to announce their membership in the Order of the Arrow! Congratulations!
